This story has been compiled from a number of voyages on the "Durban Castle" taking place in the early 1960s, all have been put together but are based on true facts. Its centred round a small number of Merchant Seamen that worked in the catering profession as waiters and cooks etc, they had to live close together in very poor conditions, below decks and out of the sight and knowledge of the passengers. |
